Animism of Food
Understanding the Spirit of Nourishment

Animists believe that all things have a soul, and that all souls are equal. This class covers advanced shamanic techniques in meeting the spirits of food,to understand spiritual nourishment through food, and how various foods affect the etheric field. Through connecting with the spirits of food, we remember the connection to All. Some foods will be consumed, though their vibration may be experienced without consuming them. Please make me aware of any food allergies or other such restrictions.
Please don't drink alcohol for 24 hours prior to class. If you usually drink coffee, consume your normal amount. Wear loose, comfy clothing. Please don't wear perfume or cologne.
There are 6 openings for this class. To pre-register contact Kelley. Pre-register with your $30 non-refundable deposit at least one week in advance, fee remainder to be collected at the beginning of class. PayPal and certified checks are accepted. This is an advanced class requiring demonstrated ability in ecstatic journeying. Contact Kelley for more information, or to reserve a seat.
Shamanic classes are taught in a Mystery School format, as well as in a class format. Mystery School is based on a largely self-directed curriculum, in that you are your journey experiences are unique, and not made aware of the curriculum other than the session topic. The Mystery leads you. Mystery School also meets biweekly over several weeks, during which you have many exercises in class and as homework. Sessions are generally in the evening, except where noted, and the material covered in each is fairly well described ahead of time.
Individual classes are taught in Fuquay-Varina, NC, unless otherwise noted. Classes taught offsite will have different rates and requirements. For such classes contact Kelley for details. Please notify us if you have allergies to pets. As well, we do not have facilities to accommodate accessiblity restrictions or physical limitations. If you would like to host a class in another location, please contact Kelley to make arrangements. Classes can be taught on demand; however, the introductory journeying classes must be completed (or demonstrated knowledge of ecstatic work) in order to participate in advanced classes. For all classes, a non-refundable security deposit is required. Material for Mystery School or individual classes can be taught one-on-one in private sessions.
All full-day classes taught in my home are from 10am - 5pm, in Fuquay-Varina, NC. Please contact me to RSVP for registration information. Rates for classes taught in other locations will vary depending on travel. Please contact me to learn the rates and deposit amount for classes.
For all full day classes taught in my home, there is a 30 minute break for lunch, and other short breaks as needed into the afternoon. Fruit, hot water for herbal teas, and heavy snacks are provided.
Half-day classes are 10am-2pm, and we take a short break, mid-way.
For all shamanic classes, please bring:
- a pillow and blanket--whatever you need to be comfy on the floor
- pen and paper
- blindfold or scarf
- rattle and/or drum if you have them
